Motorist Struck by Hit-Run Driver in Sepulveda Dies
A Panorama City man died of injuries after his car was broadsided by another early Friday morning in Sepulveda, Los Angeles police said.
Police are searching for the man driving the second car, who abandoned the vehicle and ran from the scene, Officer Rick Vigil said.
Ricardo G. Fabian, 24, died of head and chest injuries at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills three hours after the 1 a.m. crash, Vigil said.
Fabian’s car was traveling east on Parthenia Street when it was struck by the other car, which was headed south on Orion Avenue, Vigil said. The impact sent Fabian’s car into a parked car on Parthenia, while the second car collided with a light post, he said.
