The Rapid Spread of Synthetic Narcotics

I would like to voice my support for the passage of AB 2401, which would make illegal the production of “designer” drugs such as the fentanyl analogs, mentioned in John Van de Kamp’s article.
Effective education for everyone, not only “young people,” is the key to helping stem the geometric progression of drug-related death and misery currently affecting all spectrums of our society.
Van de Kamp has continually demonstrated foresight and diligence in the area of alcohol and other drug abuse, and I am pleased that he is continuing in this positive direction by taking on the “designer (killer) drugs.”
