Samuel J. Parker was named president of Lucky Stores’ automotive division, which operates 378 Kragen and Checker automotive parts stores in 12 states in the West and Southwest. Parker was previously president of Sav-On Drugs, a subsidiary of Jewel Cos.
Also, Thomas F. Herman, president of the automotive division since 1982, will become vice president-personnel at corporate headquarters, reporting to John M. Lillie, president of Lucky.
