Construction will begin late this month or early in October on the $15-million, 130,000-square-foot Home Depot Plaza being developed by Madison Square Partnership at College Boulevard and California 78 in Oceanside.
The retail center will be anchored by an 80,000-square-foot Home Depot warehouse-style home improvement center. The remaining space will be occupied by a variety of stores and restaurants, according to a spokeswoman for Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage, the leasing agent.
The building supply store is the first entry of the Atlanta-based Home Depot chain in the San Diego market. The architect is John Petake.
