Buckley Communications, owner of radio station KGIL, filed suit against the Clippers in Los Angeles Superior Court for breach of contract. They are also seeking an injunction against any other station broadcasting the team’s games.
The suit contends that KGIL and the Clippers entered into an oral contract last July for KGIL to broadcast the team’s games in the 1985-86 season and that the team breached the contract by switching their games to KMPC.
