El Monte
The El Monte City School District has approved an agreement with the El Monte Elementary Teachers Assn. for an 8.36% salary increase for the 1985-86 school year. Salaries will range from $17,121 to $38,793, up from a range of $15,800 to $35,800 last year. Of the overall increase, 1.36% will go to compensate the district’s 480 instructors for an extended teaching day.
