A Half Moon Bay mobile home park has agreed to eliminate its restrictive covenant against children. The Stanford Mid-Peninsula Urban Coalition sued the El Granada Mobile Home Park in 1983 because of an “adults only” section. The suit alleged families were unable to buy mobile homes or rent space because of the restrictions. Under a stipulated judgment in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, the mobile home park agreed to abide by Judge Charles A. Legge’s ruling against residency requirements based on age.
