Bicyclist Killed by Train Identified

A bicyclist killed by a Sante Fe freight train in Buena Park on Monday night has been identified as Jeffrey Alan Renfro, 26, of Buena Park.
Renfro died about 8:30 p.m. after pedaling around the lowered crossing arms at the Dale Street crossing near Artesia Avenue, police said.
Witnesses told police that Renfro waited for an eastbound freight train to pass, mounted his bicycle, then rode onto the tracks and into the path of the 91-car train bound from San Bernardino to Los Angeles.
