Burns Prove Fatal: An elderly Garden Grove woman died Tuesday of burns suffered when her mobile home was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon, a coroner’s official said. The victim, Jean Truscott, 63, suffered second- and third-degree burns over 60% of her body. She was pronounced dead at 1:14 p.m. in the burn unit at UCI Medical Center in Orange. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
