2 Stadiums Offer Concert Dates for Springsteen Tour
Bruce Springsteen’s first U.S. stadium tour, which began Monday in Washington, D.C., will probably be coming to either the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum or Anaheim Stadium in late September.
The Coliseum Commission on Wednesday granted the rock musician use of the facility for up to five shows anytime between Sept. 23 and Oct. 2. All of the approximately 85,000 seats would be sold on a reserved basis.
Avalon Attractions, which will promote the Springsteen shows, said it expects the rock star’s management firm to decide between the Coliseum and Anaheim Stadium, which also offered him play dates, by the end of this week.
Avalon said tickets will be sold through Ticketron and Ticketmaster.
