What’s happening to one’s freedom of choice? When I sit down to watch a show, it would be nice to see it in its entirety. Lately, however, many critical scenes have been interrupted by special news reports that lasted as long as 30 minutes. With no disrespect intended toward the seriousness of today’s issues, why don’t the networks allow their viewers to watch current events on the regularly scheduled newscasts? Really, couldn’t we have waited until the 4 p.m. news to hear about the technical details concerning President Reagan’s colon?
