Accident Injury Fatal: A 64-year-old Santa Ana woman was fatally injured at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday when she was hit by a car while crossing the 1700 block of South Main Street, Santa Ana police reported. Lt. Bob Jordan said the woman, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was walking across the street outside of a crosswalk at the time of the accident. He said the car that hit her was driven by Sally Rodelander, 25, of Orange, who was driving southbound on Main. No citations were issued, Jordan said. The accident victim was taken to Western Medical Center, but she died about five hours later, Jordan said.
