Navy Training Unit to Become Tallest

Construction on the Fleet Training Center Applied Instruction Building at the 32nd Street Naval Station in San Diego, at seven stories the tallest naval training structure on the West Coast, is 25% completed.
Designed by architects Mosher/Drew/Watson/Ferguson, the general contractor on the $8-million project scheduled for completion next summer, is Kvaas Construction Co. It will house 21 classrooms and laboratories, computer facilities and administrative offices.
