The FDIC set an auction of bank furnishings.
About 3,000 items--desks, fireproof file cabinets, copying machines and artwork--will be sold on Saturday and Sunday by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp’s Southern California liquidation office. The goods come from seven area banks that failed in the last three years, including Bank of San Marino, West Coast Bank and Heritage Bank. Proceeds will go to creditors. The auction starts at 10 a.m. both days and will be held at FDIC offices at 150 Paularino Ave., Costa Mesa.
