Tustin Approves New Residential Project
The Tustin City Council has approved the 107-acre East Tustin residential community, the first project to be planned by the Irvine Co. in that city in 10 years. It will be developed over the next two to three years.
Its construction will accompany the 50-acre Tustin Auto Center and together they will be the first phases of a larger community, the East Tustin Specific Plan, designed to meet housing, commercial, retail, lodging and recreational needs. The East Tustin area is north of the Santa Ana Freeway, bounded by Browing and Bryan avenues and the planned extension of Jamboree Road.
