A Rousing, Fun-Filled Fair

On behalf of the hundreds of people working hard to make this year’s San Fernando Valley Fair a rousing, fun-filled success, I take exception to the article written on the fair by your staff writer Lynn O’Shaughnessy (July 14).
While the information about the fair’s past problems and failures is true, that is merely unfortunate history.
The board of directors, I and my staff have pulled out all the stops to make this year’s July 18-21 fair a happy, enjoyable family entertainment for all ages.
We invite Ms. O’Shaughnessy--and all of your readers--to come out to Devonshire Downs and see for themselves what the San Fernando Valley Fair really is and to enjoy the continuous entertainment, games, rides, food and headline performers we are offering this year.
