Navy Help

On June 23, my wife and I were returning from a weekend in Mexico. My car sustained a front tire blowout on the very busy San Diego Freeway.
As soon as we were able to pull over to the side a car stopped directly behind us and two young men jumped out. They immediately took charge of the situation and proceeded to change our tire. This proved to be a very difficult change, involving much work and time. They then insisted on following us to our home in West Los Angeles, a distance of about 50 miles, as they said the spare was not in good shape. They politely refused our offer of payment for their services.
At this time I would like to salute two young sailors, John Hiner and Marc D. Jones of the USS Missouri in Long Beach.
