Arnita Wallace Albright; Half of Comedic Wallace Sisters Act

Arnita Wallace Albright, half of the comedic Wallace Sisters who performed in “The Drunkard” at Los Angeles’ old Theatre Mart during the 1930s, has died in Mission Viejo of apparent heart failure.
Mrs. Albright, widow of film actor Hardie Albright, was 71 when she died June 11 in her sleep.
A Beverly Hills High School graduate and theater arts student at UCLA, she and her sister, Eleanor, performed with a touring company featuring Jimmy Durante after leaving “The Drunkard” cast in 1942.
Mrs. Albright and her husband later opened a design firm in Beverly Hills where she also taught art at her former high school.
Her survivors include a daughter, Victoria Glava, her sister and two grandchildren.
