Douglas R. Prichard, 27, has been hired as assistant city manager, replacing Ray Taylor, who resigned last month to become city manager of Ojai.
Prichard, a Costa Mesa resident, will assume his duties July 8 at a salary of $2,850 a month, City Manager Harry Peacock said. Prichard has been assistant city manager post in Bellflower for three years.
