Banning Seeks 4-A Title Against El Camino Real

Lisa Bautista, who has 46 strikeouts in three playoff games, will lead Banning high school against two-time defending champion El Camino Real in the City 4-A softball championships today.
El Camino Real (18-0) is led by freshman Beth Silverman, who is 14-0 with five no-hitters this year. Banning is 21-3.
In the 3-A game, Venice (18-7) takes on South Gate (22-3). In tournament action earlier this year, South Gate defeated Venice, 9-2.
Both games are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at South Gate Park.
