The two sides reached a tentative agreement on a new contract after an all-night negotiating session that ended just 10 minutes before a scheduled strike. The workers had planned to walk off the job at 8 a.m. Tuesday in what would have been the first strike against the New York Stock Exchange since 1948. The two sides were called to the bargaining talks Monday night by federal mediator Rosemary LeBoeuf. Details of the tentative agreement were not immediately available. The agreement must still be approved by union members.
