Retired Air Force Gen. W. L. Creech has been elected a director of Comarco Inc., an Anaheim defense contractor.
Creech, 58, who fills a newly created position on the Comarco board, was commander of the Tactical Air Command, headquartered at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, for the 6 1/2 years prior to his retirement last November.
During his more than 36 years of service in the Air Force, Creech, who now lives in Las Vegas, held both command and staff positions in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. He was a combat pilot in Korea and Vietnam and was a member of the Thunderbirds, the Air Force aerial demonstration team, and a commander of the European aerial demonstration team, the Skyblazers.
