MADD Citizenship Awards

Ten area high school students will receive LA-MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Seth Bloomberg Memorial Citizenship Awards at a dinner next Monday at the Universal Studios commissary.
The awards, $350 each, are given for school and community leadership and participation in educating peers on the drinking-and-driving issue.
Recipients will be Howard Kummerman and Debbie Novak, Birmingham High; Jonathan Rodgers, Harvard School; Tyrone Avendano, North Hollywood High; Erika Ono, Chatsworth High; Stephanie Lynn Vitacco, John F. Kennedy High; Mary Man-No Lee, Benjamin Franklin High; David Janney, Palisades High; Paul Kradin, Ulysses S. Grant High, and Gregory Dillard, Alain Leroy Locke High.
