COMMENCEMENT 1985 : Fullerton College

Fullerton College conducted its 71st commencement exercises Wednesday evening at Fullerton Union High School Stadium.
Degrees: 1,100 associate of arts diplomas were awarded.
Speakers: Students Douglas S. Anders of Fullerton and Arlene S. Frees of Brea spoke. Anders was a 1985 finalist for the Man of the Year Award and the 1985 Volunteer of the Year at the college. Frees was named 1985 Woman of Distinction and 1985 Woman of the Year at the college.

Cypress College: The 19th Commencement exercises for Cypress College took place outdoors Wednesday evening on campus. Thomas J. Fryer, chancellor of Foothill-De Anza Community College District in Mountain View, Calif., was the keynote speaker. Associate of arts degrees were presented to 884 students. Professor Emeritus honors were presented to 13 retiring staff members.
