Whittier
The Whittier City Council is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on eight city boards and commissions.
The boards and commissions are the Board of Appeals, Personnel Board and Library Board, which have one vacancy each; the Design Review Board, Park and Recreation Commission, and Parking and Transportation Commission, which have two vacancies each, and the Social Services Commission, which has three vacancies.
The vacancies will occur July 1, when terms of some board members expire. Applicants are appointed to four-year terms.
Whittier residents may obtain applications at the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 13230 E. Penn Street.
