Eleven guests were evacuated early Saturday when a fire broke out in a room of the Wally Johnson Hotel, 921 N. Hill Street. No one was hurt during the fire, which was reported at 3:49 a.m. and brought under control 40 minutes later. One of the guests reported to authorities that he saw two unidentified people running away from the fire, but no evidence of arson had been uncovered by late Saturday. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
