‘Rent Control Makes No Sense’

There may be some good arguments against rent control but your editorial includes the same bad argument (used by many landlords) that rent control is the “only area of the economy the free enterprise system is not allowed to work.”
Explain to me then how are rates set for electricity, gas and telephone.
What is the Public Utility Commission? And what does it do that is similar to rent control?
