Westwood
The UCLA building that served as Westwood headquarters for the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee last summer has been named the Peter V. Ueberroth Olympic Office Building in honor of the committee’s former president, according to UCLA Chancellor Charles E. Young. The committee financed construction of the three-story building at 10945 LeConte Ave. and gave it to UCLA after the games ended. Ueberroth is now the commissioner of major league baseball.
