Forty-five people have been arrested by police during a three-day drug sweep in Hollywood in response to complaints by merchants and residents about the illegal sale of narcotics in the area. Officers said most of the arrests were for selling small amounts of marijuana. About a third of the arrests, police said, were made near the intersection of Leland Street and McCadden Place.
