Teddy Naturally Wins Santa Anita Feature

Teddy Naturally gained the lead over four rivals soon after the start Wednesday and ran off with the $64,150 San Miguel Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Jorge Estrada Jr., Teddy Naturally finished 1 1/2 lengths in front of Image of Greatness, the 2-5 favorite ridden by Chris McCarron. Metronomic, ridden by Darrel McHargue, finished third, another 1 lengths back.
Winning for the fifth time in eight career starts for trainer Ted West, Teddy Naturally earned $37,150 and was clocked in a swift 1:08 4/5 for the six furlongs over a fast track.
As the 7-2 second choice, Teddy Naturally paid $9.40, $2.80 and $2.10.
