Arab Officials Discuss Peace Plan for Gulf War

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Foreign ministers or senior officials from six Arab countries met here Sunday to discuss a fresh plan aimed at ending the 52-month-old Persian Gulf War between Iran and Iraq.
The secretary general of the Arab League, Chedli Klibi, said on arrival in the Iraqi capital that the plan aims at “pushing forward international efforts toward ending the war and achieving peace within the framework of international legitimacy.”
