Summer Place Opens Today in Simi Valley

Summer Place, a neighborhood of 180 two- and three-bedroom town houses, opens today at Hunter’s Field, Griffin Homes’ 70-acre, $75-million master-planned community in Simi Valley.
Priced from $98,980 to $111,950 with 10.99% 30-year fixed-rate financing, the 38 homes in the first phase are available in five floor plans ranging in size from 1,192 to 1,451 square feet. Ten units have been sold.
Among the features are ceramic tile entries, courtyards, patios, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, formal dining rooms and two-car garages with automatic door openers and direct access to the units. Two of the plans also have atriums.
Common amenities include swimming pools, spas and barbecue areas, maintained by a monthly homeowners fee of $95. First move-ins are scheduled in April.
Furnished models and the sales office are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2103 Emory Ave. near Yosemite and Los Angeles avenues.
