Kaufman & Broad purchased France’s Bati-Service.

Bruce E. Karatz, president of Kaufman & Broad development group, said the expansion continues the firm’s on-site housing business. Bati-Service is a privately owned French building company. Kaufman & Broad purchased 95% of Bati-Service stock for an undisclosed amount from its founder and majority shareholder, Michel Anselme. Bati-Service will become a subsidiary of the holding company that currently owns Kaufman & Broad-France, the French housing division of Kaufman & Broad.
