Stonehenge, a gate-guarded community of 40 single-family attached homes being developed by Interamerican Builders Corp. in the hills of Orange, opens today with 15 homes already sold.
Priced from $126,900 to $146,900, the two-story residences, arranged in pairs, are available with two or three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 1,408 or 1,713 square feet. Featuring a Country English architectural theme, the homes will have expanses of horizontal wood siding accented by slate-gray trims and fascias, gabled roofs, and multi-paned and octagonal windows.
Among the other features will be skylights above open staircases, wood-burning fireplaces, vaulted ceilings in the living rooms, sliding glass doors opening onto patios finished with gas outlets for barbecues; dual-paned windows, weatherstripping on exterior doors, and wall and ceiling insulation.
The six-acre community will also have a one-acre recreational center with a swimming pool, spa and tennis court. The monthly homeowners fee is $129.
The sales office, staffed by Peggy Moore & Associates, and decorated models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 242 Crawford Canyon Road. First move-ins are expected to begin in March.
