Ohrbach Store Heir Dead at 38
Jeffrey Ohrbach, 38, the grandson of the founder of the Ohrbach’s department store chain, was found dead in his Brentwood home late Friday, and an autopsy was being conducted, police disclosed today.
Police said a friend discovered the body at Ohrbach’s home at 209 N. Bundy. An autopsy was scheduled at the Los Angeles County coroner’s office this afternoon. Police declined to give any details of the cause of death until after the autopsy was complete. Ohrbach was the grandson of Nathan Ohrbach, who founded the department store chain in 1911.
