Larry Parrish, the Texas Rangers’ slugger, appears available and willing to join the Atlanta Braves, according to the Atlanta Constitution. Parrish’s name has come up often in trade talks involving the Braves since Bob Horner’s availability became questionable for 1985. Horner has a broken wrist. Parrish batted .285 with 22 home runs, 42 doubles and 101 RBIs last season with Texas while playing right field.
