If Your Express Runs Late, You Get Refund

ROME — Travelers whose express trains run more than an hour late can receive a reimbursement for the extra fare they paid for what was to be a speedier ride.
That policy begins this month, the government-controlled railway company announced Wednesday.
On the Milan-Rome express, the surcharge ranges from $9 to $12.
