Chrysler will upgrade three Midwest stamping plants.
Chrysler said it is investing $120 million in a long-range program that will help to “reduce our inventory levels up to 20%.” The plants are located in Sterling Heights and Warren, Mich., and Twinsburg, Ohio. Major equipment to be added to the plant include automation equipment, Chrysler said.
