According to documents filed with the Interstate Commerce Commission, Ingram paid $81 million to acquire Ohio Barge Lines and Mon-Valley Transportation from U.S. Steel Corp. They will become part of Ingram Barge, a subsidiary of the Nashville, Tenn.-based company. The purchase will double the size of the subsidiary.
