No. 6-seeded Gardena has a 23-19 halftime lead over No. 1-seeded Granada Hills Kennedy in the City Section Division II championship game at Roybal.

Gardena has made four three-pointers. Chris Gonzalez has nine points for Kennedy, all on threes.

Update: At the end of three quarters, Gardena leads, 38-30.
