It appears that Andy Rodriguez, a former Granada Hills Kennedy assistant coach, has emerged as the top candidate to replace Manny Alvarado as baseball coach.
Rodriguez was the junior varsity head coach and later a varsity assistant under Alvarado. He has since worked at Mission College and Valley College.
‘I think he’d do an outstanding job,’ Alvarado said Sunday.
