Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (7-5) got a complete game from freshman pitcher Jack Hartman and three hits from Connor Garelick to defeat Agoura, 10-2, in an opening game of the Babe Herman tournament.
Jesuit defeated Westlake, 5-3. Troy Beltran had two hits for Westlake (5-8).
In the St. Paul tournament, La Mirada defeated Downey Warren, 3-2.
In the Anaheim Lions tournament, Valencia and Servite tied, 2-2, and then Valencia defeated Paramount, 9-3. Quincy Quintero had two RBIs for Valencia against Servite.
Newhall Hart couldn’t hold on to a 3-0 lead and lost to El Modena, 4-3.
