Ed Croson’s teams won four City Section football championships at Birmingham before he left to take over the program this season at West Hills Chaminade.
The Eagles haven’t even played a game yet, but it’s clear about the impact Croson is having. He has more than 25 players out for football who didn’t participate in the program last season. That’s how teams get better fast, when they attract the top athletes at their school.
So beware of Chaminade. You might not be familiar with the new names on the roster to start, but by the end, I have a feeling the Eagles are going to be causing some problems for opponents.
