Taft’s Tymon Jones won the boys’ long jump with a length of 21 feet 7.75 inches and Crenshaw’s Xzanthnice Bourgeois took the girls’ event in 17 feet 10 inches.
Also qualifying for the state meet for the boys: Carson’s Chris Hill (21-06.00) and Austin Dotson (21-00.00). Also qualifying for the girls: Palisades’ Erika Martin (17-09.75) and El Camino Real’s Alexandria Stewart (16-08.00).
