Football: Ancich is returning to St. Paul as coach

Here’s a shocker: Marijon Ancich, who is tied with Concord De La Salle’s Bob Ladouceur as the winningest high school football coach in state history, is returning to St. Paul.

Ancich, with 344 victories, is returning for a third tour of duty at St. Paul. He replaces Pete Gonzalez, who directed the program for three years.
