Getting down and dirty ... really dirty ... at Carson

I arrived early to Carson for the Carson-Dorsey City Section semifinal game, and I was not surprised by what I saw. The middle of the field looks like a 100-yard mudpuddle, thanks to the day-long rain, which has yet to stop.

I’m not sure what can be done -- if anything -- to dry the field besides setting it in fire. Maybe both teams will bring extra uniforms.
