Westmont: Man, 26, shot at vigil

Joe Caver, a 26-year-old black man, died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009,at 103rd Street and Budlong Avenue in Westmont, according to coroner’s records.

Caver was attending a vigil for a fellow gang member when someone opened fire on the crowd, killing Caver and Keith Orange, 45, police said.
