O.J. Mayo among the NBA’s rookie stat leaders

With the NBA two months into its season, let’s take a look at the leaders among the rookie class in points scored, rebounds and assists.
It turns out that four rookies earned a spot in at least two of these statistical categories: Ex-Trojan O.J. Mayo; Derrick Rose, the No. 1 pick overall pick last summer; ex-Bruin Russell Westbrook, and Charlotte point guard D.J. Augustin.
SCORING AVERAGE PER GAME:

3. Russell Westbrook, OKC, 13.8.
4. Michael Beasley, Miami, 13.2.
5. D.J. Augustin, Charlotte, 12.4.

2. Kevin Love, Minnesota, 7.8.
3. Greg Oden, Portland, 7.3
4. Marc Gasol, Memphis, 6.7.
5. (tie) Luc Mbah a Moute, Milwaukee, 6.6.
5. (tie) Jason Thompson, Sacramento, 6.6.
ASSISTS PER GAME:
1. Derrick Rose, Chicago, 6.3.
