NYC tourist calls action a ‘great thing’

NEW YORK -- Stephanie McKendrick, a 31-year-old paralegal from Charlotte, N.C., was one of the tourists who paused on the sidewalk to watch the strikers outside Rockefeller Center.

‘I think it’s a great thing,’ she said of the writers’ stance. ‘They offer Americans what they want in television, and they deserve to have a good contract.’
