Opinion: What makes those ‘mobs’ on Wall Street so dangerous

Who’s afraid of Occupy Wall Street? Before Friday, it was journalists who couldn’t find a way to describe the demonstrators accurately, perhaps because the demonstrators themselves couldn’t offer a concise self-description. But truly terrified is House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who said he was ‘increasingly concerned about the growing mobs on Wall Street and the other cities across the country.’
Lest you think the OWS types were assaulting police officers or committing mayhem in the financial district, Cantor went on to explain why the ‘mobs’ were so objectionable -- they were ‘pitting ... Americans against Americans.’
In other words, they were engaging in ‘class warfare,’ the activity Republicans accuse President Obama of. So is he part of the mob?
